Hope's Hero

Hope had to pick a hero to dress up and talk about for 2 minuets at school today! She had a hard time deciding between Taylor Swift and Kyle Beckerman her favorite Salt Lake Real Soccer player. She decided on Kyle Beckerman because he plays her favorite position midfield and she wants to play soccer in high school and college. She wrote a little page about him and dressed up in Real Soccer stuff!! She looked really cute!

When she came home from school I asked her how it went, and she told me her teacher said it was the most creative and she gave the best presentation. It was fun to see her so excited about a school project!

We are very proud of you Hopeachino and love you very much!

Puppy!!

Zoey's new word is puppy!! She loves dogs and cats, but both are just called puppy! She gets so excited every time she sees one and loves to cuddle with them!

While we were at Papa and Mammie's house Zoey was in the back yard and saw their neighbors dog and got very excited! She ran (well more like walked really fast because she does not have the running thing down yet) over to the fence a kept putting her foot through the fence hole to have the dog (who's name also is Zoey) lick it! She would laugh every time up until it got stuck! It was so sad, but just cute enough that I had to take a picture of it before I got it out!

Stefano's Gelato

Chris's Uncle Paul and Aunt Becky opened a Gelato shop and Friday night there was a Family and friends taste testing party! Not only is there yummy gelato they also serve Canino Davinos which are the best hot dogs ever!!
the shop turned out really cute and it was a fun night for all!! I am really excited to be working there part time it will be a lot of fun! Everyone should come check it out you will love it!!

Thank you Paul and Becky for letting us taste all of the yummy food we love it!

Brady double fisting it!! He tried every flavor twice!! He love it.. well that is until he threw it all up when we left! He told me "Mom I have the flu" and I told him nope I think you just had to much gelato. he quickly replied with.."no you can never have to much gelato!"

Slacking a little

I have not been very good at blogging these days!! I just added a whole bunch to share with all of you what's been going on in The World of us Wrights :)

Birthday Bee's Game!

We took Brady and his two best friends to the Bee's Baseball game for his birthday, and it was so much fun!! The bee came over and sang Happy Birthday to him, sprayed him with sill string, and gave him high 6! All of the kids thought it was so funny!! (the bee is wearing a pink shirt because it was support breast cancer night. All of the players had pink uniforms on!)

Mammie bought all the kids a baseball, and they all asked the bee to sign it. The kids thought it was really cool!!

Brady thought it was really cool that they put his name up on the Big Screen and the announcer said Happy 6th Birthday Brady!

Hope brought her friend Karlie to the game! They had so much fun together!

Zoey thought the game was a lot of fun too!! She had a ball but I had to take it away 1/2 way through the night because she thought it was fun to show us how good of an arm she had and kept throwing it 4 rows down!!

It was a great night and a really good experience for the kids!! Thank you so much Mammie for the tickets and all the fun hook ups for Brady!! He said it was the best birthday EVER :)

Mother's Day 2009

For Mother's day we went to Joe's Crab Shack with Mammie and Papa. My mom gave me a gift certificate to the nail salon which makes me so happy I need to get my nails and toes done so bad!! Thanks you mom I love you!

Since it was close to Brady's birthday my mom and I decided to share our day with him, and we did his birthday lunch!

Joe's Crab Shack was a lot of fun! When they sang Happy Birthday to Brady they tied a lobster bib around his neck and told him he was Superman, and he had to run around the entire restaurant like he was flying! At first we did not think he was going to do it, but he was a champ and ran around really fast!! He LOVED IT!!
Hope wanted to try crab so Chris and her shared a big thing of BBQ snow crab. She had to stand the entire time because if she sat and cracked it the crab would fly all over the place including her and Papa's hair!! She loved it so much that she ate almost ALL of it! Chris said that was the last time he would share with her!! He did not get hardly any food!!!

Zoey thought it was a really cool restaurant too!! There was music to dance and clap to, lights to watch and say wow too, and a really big piece of chocolate cake to eat!!

After Joe's we went back to Mammie's and Papa's and watched Bride Wars. I love that movie! It was a lot of fun to spend the day with Mammie and Papa!

After my parents we went over to Oompa and Nana's house for a Mother's day dinner. The chicken dish carol made was really good, and it was funny to listen to everyone say it was fish!!! We had chocolate dipped strawberries for desert. It was a very good dinner!

Hope and Brady had a lot of fun playing with uncle Bry. They had hoola hoop contest, and played in the old VW Bug.

Zoey was in heaven because GG and Patty both had their dos there so she followed them around saying "hi puppy hi"! We had a really good time it was really good to see everyone that came since we do not see all of them on a regular basis.

When we got home Chris and the kids all gave me their cards, and next weekend I get to go out and buy all the flowers for my flower bed!! It is what I want every mothers day!! I look forward to it every year!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers and Grandmothers out there I hope you all had a special day!!

Bubba Turns 6!!!

Six years ago I received such a special gift! May 12 2003 my baby boy came into the world weighing in at 4 pounds 8 ounces (the biggest of all my babies)! The past 6 years have been so much fun watching Brady grow into such a kind hearted little man! He is so funny and he keeps me on my toes all day everyday, and I would not have it any other way!! 6 years have gone by so fast. I tell him everyday he will always be my baby boy. He does not like it as much as I do :) He wants to be big!! He asked how close he was to getting his drivers license and I told him only 20 more years kid :) Brady is so the ham of our family! He makes me laugh all the time!!

For Brady's birthday activities this year we are going to have his friend’s party at the Bee's baseball game. Brady is really into sports so he is very excited! Sunday we are going to have a swimming party for him at our house with all of the family!

Since his two parties are not until the weekend Mammie felt bad he would not be opening any gifts on his real B-day so she surprised him with cupcakes and a small gift when we went over for Papa to watch them while we went to work out! He was very excited!!

The top 10 list for Brady at age 6

1.Obsessed with Power Rangers!! He knows every ranger, Bad guy, everything there is to know about rangers from every season since Mighty Morphin

2. Brady loves to read!! He is so smart!

3. He hates the weekends because he does not get to go to school.. I bet that does not stay!!

4. Brady loves to sing! KBull 93 is his favorite radio station

5. He wants to be a break dancer when he is older.. It used to be a baby doctor, and then a football player, but I made the mistake of telling him I would love for him to be a football player because they take care of their mama's, and Brady quickly said well then I don't want to do that anymore :) Can you feel the love??

6. He s obsessed with the color blue

7. Brady is so cute with his sisters! He wants to be Hope's best friend and tries to take care of Zoey all the time!

8. Brady loves infomercials. He thinks they are so much fun to watch!! He loves to say the.. "but wait there is more" part!

9. He does not take pain well at all!!

10. He love's to cuddle with me.. always has.. and is the only one of the kids who does so I hope it never stops!!!

We Love You Bubba!! Happy Birthday!!

I can not believe how old my baby is! 9 years have gone by really fast! It is hard to believe that she started out at only 1lb 11 oz. She is such a kind hearted girl, and has nothing but love in her heart! On May third Hope took her next step at our Church and made her Holy Communion. For Catholic’s this is the first time you are able to take communion. This is a big step and we are so proud of her! The service was amazing and our little Hope looked so beautiful! Thank you to all who helped share this special day with Hope. It really meant the world to all of us to see the love and support from all of our family and friends!

Hope after her service!Brady wanted some camera action too

Zoey on the move!

Hope's friends Rylie and Karlie were able to share this special day with Hope

Hope with Mammie and Papa

Oompa Nana Aunt Katie with Hope

We were so happy that My Aunt Trudy and Uncle Gary could come down from Bosie Idaho!

Thank you all again for helping make this day so special for Hope!

We love you all!!

Congratulations Chris!

I am sad because I do not have many pictures of this event because my camera died at the beginning of the service. I can thank my sister in law Andi I copied these from her blog :) I wanted to post this anyway because it was such a big day! For the past year and ½ Chris has been taking classes at the Catholic Church to try and understand what I believed, and what the kids were learning in class every Sunday more in depth! Chris will be the first to say he started the classes for me, but continued going to them because he became more and more interested. In January Chris came to me and said I need to talk to you! Chris is not a big talker so I was taken by surprise. He told me how happy these classes he had been going to made him, and how he loved the feeling he had about his choice of becoming Catholic. He told me it was something that he truly believed in and he has not had that in his life for a very long time! I told Chris that this was not something he had to do to me, and he started laughing at me (talk about a bruised ego). He told me he was doing this 100% for himself! I won’t go into the whole conversation it is a long one, but I will say it was really amazing to look into his eyes and see something I have never seen before! Chris was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic Church the night before Easter. Chris was very happy to have mine and some of his family come and support his decision. Chris’ Mom, brother Jdub, our sister in law Andi, my mom and my dad were able to share this special night with him. Congratulations Chris I am so proud of you and know you will continue following your path that has been made for you!!

Keeping up with my little Bug!!

Zoey has started walking. It took her a long time, but now that she knows how she is into EVERYTHING!!! I laugh at how us parents push and push for this to happen, but then get so sad when they do! Maybe it is because she is my last, but watching her walk just breaks my heart. She is now 20 months and she is growing up way to fast! Zoey is such a joy in our lives and even though it is so much fun to watch her grow I wish she could stay little forever!

Coloring ALL day EVERY day!!

Bug’s new passion is coloring! Santa brought her a color on bear that she could of cared less about until the past few weeks!! She now wants to color all the time!! She is so cute while she does it. She sits and just hums and sings the entire time and everytime she is done she says “Cheese". I think this is because when she first started I wanted to take pictures of her and kept saying cheese to make her smile!! She gets so proud every time she colors on it. She won’t color as much on paper yet, and I really can’t put the bear on the fridge with a magnet so I have to take pictures of all her art work!!

Doggie bath time!!

Hope’s dream is to be a Veterinarian, and she told me at her office she was going to clean dogs too. She wanted to give the dogs a bath for practice. Her little shadow aka Brady wanted to help!! After a lot of screaming, fighting and wet dogs running around our house the dogs got “somewhat” clean!! After Hope cleaned up the bath mess she told me that she has decided that she still wanted to be a vet, but would hire someone to do the bath part it was to hard of work for her!

Laughing at my silly Bubba

Brady comes up with some of the craziest things at times. We were at my parent’s house and he came to me and said my tummy wants to be a singer when he grows up!! I started laughing and said lets make him a singer now! We drew a face on him, and Brady named him Tummy Tim. He would squeeze his tummy back and forth by the belly button to make it look like Tummy Tim could talk. He sang songs, said the pledge, and put on a great show for us!! Before Brady would start each show he would make me say “Ladies and Gentle men boys and girls of all ages let me introduce Brady Michael Ernst-Wright and his friend Tummy Tim. If I did not say it word for word he sure would let me know and I would have to start over!! Tummy Tim kept him entertained for about 2 hours, but then it was bath time!! Brady was so sad when he looked down and Tummy Tim was gone! I told him we could draw another Tim, but while crying he said it would just not be the same! Bless his emotional little heart!
