Love Day 2013

We had a great love day this year at the Wright home!! Chris and I decided to exchange homemade gifts! Chris made me a book full of poems he wrote me and pictures. It was so super cute!! Chris loves playing cards.. He collects them. so I took the deck of cards that he got on our honeymoon in Mexico and changed them up a bit. On the backside I did 52 reasons I love you. Each card had a different reason why I loved him!! It was really fun to make gifts for each other they were very special!! Chris also got me very pretty flowers, and a gorgeous necklace earring set from Brighton. I also got Chris kickboxing classes for us to take together (more on that later). We went out to dinner with our three sweet Valentines, and ended the night with a movie for just the two of us! It was a great day!

10 years!!

February 1st 2013 Chris and I celebrated 10 years of being married! I am so lucky to be married to my best friend! Here is a shocker moment but I am not always the easiest person to be married to , and I am super lucky he has stuck through so much with me! He is a great husband and wonderful husband! Here is to 10 down and many years to go!! Elephant Shoe now and forever!

Bieber Fever Part 2

The girls had so much fun at the Justin Bieber concert! At first Zoey was a little sad because she thought it was only going to be her, Hope, me, and Justin, but after Zoey stopped crying because other people were there they both had so much fun! This was Zoey's first concert, and even though Hope has been to many other shows she said this was one of her favorite concerts ever! I must admit that he was fun to watch and put on a great show! It was a fun girls night, and I am very thankful I was able to share this fun experience with two of my favorite girls.

Mini Goolge AKA Bubba AKA Brady

Brady had to do a report on a county in Utah. He picked Box Elder County. He worked very hard on it! It always amazes me how into projects Brady gets! Not only does he know everything there is to know about the county, but so do the rest of the family and everyone that happened to ask him a question about it. because a simple question turns into a 30 minuet lesson from him :)

Brady loves to learn new facts! This week he has decided to google everything there is to know about flamingos.... Did you know that a flamingo can only eat with its head upside down??

We refer to Brady as mini google!

The day that the 4th grade class presented their projects happened to be Utah's birthday. They had a gigantic Utah shaped cake and we all sang happy birthday to Utah. The kids thought it was great!!

Good Job Bubba we are so proud of you!

I can not believe on January 8th 2013 my little girl turned 13 years old!!

It is hard to believe that 13 years ago I was looking at my 26 week 1 lb 11 oz baby girl praying for everything to be OK! The last 13 years have been so much fun! I have loved watching Hope turn into a beautiful young lady! She is one of the sweetest, smartest, funniest, loving girls I know!! She loves to make others laugh and will do anything for anyone! She has the biggest heart. I am so proud of my baby girl!

For her birthday Chris and I and three of her friends surprised her with a night out with dinner and a laser show downtown. Hope had to sit in the car for almost an hour blindfolded not knowing who was in the car or where we were going. It was a lot of fun!! All the girls had a great time!!!

Two of her friends asked me to help get them stuff to decorate her locker at school on her birthday! It was so much fun watching them decorate "trash" it!

We went out to Joe's Crab Shack for her birthday dinner with my family and had a lot of fun!

to facebook or not to facebook that is the question!

I am just in a need to rant so if you don't want to hear my soap box rant then just move onto the next post!

I decided to cancel my Facebook account because all of the negativity makes me sad. It also bothers me that people on it act as my friends or even family but in person do not give me the time of the day. I hate not feeling good enough for people and this is how it started making me feel! I wanted to throw my arms up and no longer play the dumb Facebook game.....

Well I did not fully delete my account for 2 reason.. with Hope having an account I feel I need one to make sure she does not get herself into trouble, and 2nd I like to look at family and close friends updates and picture. I just stopped posting so those who did not need to know my life story did not get it! I have decided to go through and delete people I have not talked to in over 6 months! I I feel really bad taking people off, but like I said if I am not good enough to call, text, or talk to in person you are not good enough to Facebook stalk me!

While taking a break on Facebook I started to Instagram and I love it!! I love showcasing my family on our adventure called life, but also I do not have to listen to the negative things people have to say about everything these days!

Bieber Fever

Mammie gave the girls Justin Bieber Tickets for Christmas! Hope has always loved his music and has a bit of a crush on him, and Zoey...well Zoey is 110% obsessed with him. She tells people they are getting married, she kisses posters, she has clothing, make up , bags, jewelry, books, the movie, white boards, tooth brushes and anything else you can imagine with Justin Bieber all over them. She has true Bieber fever. We have Ellen shows and the Voice recorded on the TV when Justin Bieber was on and she watches them all the time! She Sings his songs all day every day! She gets upset when others say they like him because she thinks he is only hers. When Hope told her he had a girlfriend Zoey cried her self to sleep! She is getting better knowing that she has to share, but reminds people that he loves her and will marry her one day! Chris thinks she is Crazy I think it is cute!

Ahhhh Chooo

This winter has hit our house hard with sickness this year!! We have seen strep (3 times), Influenza A twice (Let me just say we have seen the flu before and this is the worst ever!!), ear infections, stomach bugs, broken bones, and countless nasty colds!! I normally LOVE winter, but this winter has been long, cold and just plain yucky!! I can't wait for spring!! It is weird for those words to come out of my mouth because winter has ALWAYS been my favorite season and I love love love the snow, but I am just done this year...man maybe I am getting old!

I am pretty sure we have kept the Kleenex and Clorox company in business this winter!

2012 in a nut shell

Every time I came back to start blogging the past few months I would get overwhelmed because I did not want to miss any important information. I have decided that I am just going to do one large post to sum up another great year for the Wrights!

We had Fun going to REAL, BEES and JAZZ games!!

Hope went into 7th grade Brady went into 4th grade and Zoey is in her last year of Pre-School

Hope made it on the Westlake 7th grade cheer team

Brady earned his Wolf in scouts

We went and saw Hairspray and Aladdin and played in the sun in St George

We went to Vegas to see Brent kick major booty on American Ninja Warrior, and explored the strip while there!

We went camping at Bear Lake with Mammie and Papa

Had fun in the sun all summer long

We had a fun 4th of July! We did fireworks at Mammie and Papa's house! Zoey still is deathly afraid of the fireworks!! She told me she will like them when she is 27!
