The ABC's of or last 6 months!

I love blogging and I think I did a great job this year (January to May) but then something happened and that something is summer! I am not a big fan of summer because I HATE the heat, but I do love all the time we get to spend as a family doing fun and exciting things! I have been dreading blogging again because I did not want to go back and play catch up, but I also did not want to start blogging again just to leave out all the fun things we did this summer and Fall. After a lot of debate I decided to do the ABC's of our last 6 months! I hope you enjoy reading this post as much as we loved doing everything, and as much as I did writing about it all!

A: We took the kids to the Art's Festival with Mammie all of the kids had a lot of fun!

There were some really neat artist there, and the activities for the kids were awesome!

B= Bear Lake Day Trips

B: We made a few day trips to Bear Lake to play in the lake this summer. They were fun short trips that the kids loved!

We went to the pizza place in town, and ordered their biggest pizza! Brady really wanted us to finish it so or picture could be put on the wall! With Mammie, Kevin, Wendi, Chris, myself and the kids we barely made it 1/2 way!! Brady keeps telling me next summer we will try again!

D=Dance

Brady did break dancing this year and he LOVED it!! His team was Bboyz, and he had so much fun learning new tricks. Brady also liked to show off his dance skills for everyone! He got to perform at Lagoon (which he thought was really cool!) and did an end of the year program! His teachers were really good guys that helped Brady learn a lot!






Zoey also started dance this spring/summer and she loves it so much! Zoey refers to herself as a princess and all princesses dance so it was a must that she start! She was in a class with two/three because she did not turn 4 until September. She was the oldest by far with most the girls around 2 1/2. Because of this Zoey thought she was the boss to all of them, and they followed her around like a dancing God! She had so much fun with dance and can't wait to start again in the Spring!

F= Flag Football

Brady played flag football this summer! He loved it! I told him he had to do flag foot ball two times before I let him play tackle to make sure he liked it (the real reason is I am scared for him to play tackle football, but I wont tell him that :) ) When I told him he was so cute to watch I was sternly told by him that football is not a cute sport! He is growing up far to fast!! Brady is excited to play flag football this spring and then join the (in his words) real Lehi football team this summer!

Glasses

Sweet little Zoey Bug had to get glasses, and I think she looks so stinking cute!! She loves having her glasses and is so cute when she notices thing that she had never noticed before.. She is always making comments like.. "wow mommy did you know the table looked like this??" It is like she is seeing everything for the first time all over again!!

K=Kite

"Let's go fly a kite" was a song I heard from Zoey all summer long!! All 3 of the kids really enjoyed flying their kites, but Zoey fell in love with it! She wanted to fly a kite every day! She would get very angry if there was no wind when she woke up, but lucky for her we live in Lehi and wind is like water here.. available all the time :)

P= Playing at the park

The kids love going over to the park and just playing! We decided it would be fun to find different kinds of parks during the summer. I think the most interesting park that we went to was an exercising park in Draper!

C= Camping With The Wright Family in Bear Lake

My sister-in-Law, Andi was nice enough to ask her grandpa and grandma if we could all go camping at their ranch near Bear Lake! It was a really fun trip. We drove up on Saturday and stayed until Monday! The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins, playing in the lake, hanging out by the camp fire, and we loved just being with everyone! It was a great trip for all of us!
