There is not a comic book or movie made about my favorite super hero

And he does not have side kick following him around

My favorite super hero joined my family in 1990

My favorite super hero grounded me when I was bad (can you ever imagine me being bad J )

He made me do my home work every night

clean my room and do all my chores

Have good manners and be honest

And treat people with respect.

My favorite super hero loved me and cared for me

And made sure all the villains stayed away!

MY DAD!

There are not words that I can express on how much I love my dad! He has always been my rock and has supported me through all my stupid decisions in life. He is the best Papa to my kids, and does so much for my family! I love him with all my heart, and am truly honored to have him as my dad!!

Challenge Day 5

My Granny and Grandpa lived in Florida when we were younger. One of our visits there we were lucky enough to have them go to Epcot Center with our family! Both of them have passed away, and it is pictures and memories like this that I will treasure always!

fast forward 20 years (give or take a few) and you have almost the same picture of my parents with my kids at Epcot. We went to Disney world with my family in October, and had a great time. I love that we have both of these pictures.

What a special treasure!

Challenge Day 4

A habit that you wish you didn't have
Well since today I am posting day 4 and it should be day 9 I am going to have to say one of the habits I wish I could change would be PROCRASTINATION!!. I don't do it on purpose, but the little ADD in me (LOL that's for you Chris!) makes me lose focus on the task that I am doing very easily. This is from blogging, reading, homework, all the way to driving. Chris gets very upset with me when I drive because he thinks I always wait until the last minute to change lanes. I just think he is jealous because I am a better driver :)
I have also found that I do my best work under pressure. My loved ones might disagree because I also do get grumpy under pressure. It is my goal for the year (one of them at least) to try to focus on one task at a time, and not to overwhelm myself with so much stuff....Wish me luck!

Challenge Day 3

I have wonderful friends in my life, and I love each and every one of them. In this month long challenge I get to do two different challenge days on my friends so I decided to do the first challenge on the 4 best friends in my life. Chris, Hope, Brady, and Zoey. They are all the best things that have ever happened to me! I am truly thankful for my sweet little family. I love them all so much!

Challenge Day 2

For today's challenge question I am asked the meaning behind my blog name. Believe it or not it took me a while to find the perfect name of my blog. I knew I wanted to use, and have fun with our last name in it, but wanted it to represent our family in a honest and fun way. Fun the "Wright" way is what we as a family try to do! We only have one chance to raise our kids so we try to do it the best way that we can! We teach our children good manners, how to be kind hearted people, to be honest, to always be hard workers,to always make sure whatever task you are doing in life to make the best out of it, to never give up, to try your hardest, and most importantly ALWAYS have fun~ I love my little family and am blessed to have each of them in my life! It has been a long time since I have done updates on the kids so I figure that this challenge post about the fun we have would be the best place to start!

HOPE


My sweet little baby just turned.... are you ready for this 11! Can you believe it? She is growing up so fast. She is still at Lake View and is in the 5th grade, and has become such a social little butterfly. She no longer thinks boys are yucky which does not thrill her over protective mommy and daddy! She is very smart, helpful, kindhearted, lovable, beautiful and funny. She has a love for art, singing, and dancing and is very very talented at all three.

BRADY
Bubba aka Brady is one of the nicest people I know. He would do anything for anyone! He loves a challenge and is constantly challenging himself to do better! He wants to be a scientist when he is older because he wants to better the world! Bubba started at Lakeview this year and is in the 2nd grade. He is doing awesome in school he is such a smart kid! Bubba loves football!! He is a big UofU and Miami Dolphin fan!

PRINCESS ZOEY
Our little princess truly lives up to her name. she is 100% princess! She loves make up, dress ups, pretty shoes, tea parties, the color pink, dancing, singing, and anything else you can associate with princesses. She wants to be the center of attention all of the time! She has a personality like I have never seen before in a 3 year old. She makes us laugh so hard we just love her! Zoey loves picking on her older brother and sister. She truly can hold her own! Zoey wants to be a big kid so bad like Hopie and Bubba. She is very excited to start going to her own school (daycare/preschool) two days a week starting next week. I am excited to see her grow and learn new things, but at the same time it is heart wrenching because she is the last baby I will ever have! We call her Zoey the Last!

Challenge Day 1

Day 1-Recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself

Doing today's challenge made me realize just how few recent pictures of me there is! I know it has a lot to do with how unhappy I am at the moment with my body, but also I am always the one taking the picture! I guess I better start letting others snap me once in a while! This picture is of me and my sweet little Annika! She is my brothers daughter and I just love being her silly Aunt Kimmy! I love all of my nieces and nephews they all mean the world to me!

I do not think I am the most interesting person, but here are 15 fun facts you may or may not know!
1. I don't know how to swim! Water over my neck scares me!
2. I have always had a fear of Darth Vader, but thanks to my sweet Brady I made it through all 3 movies over Christmas, and I can now say even though I don't like him the thought of him does not make me cry!
3. The one place I want to go more then anywhere is Prince Edwards Island.
4. I am scared to talk to people I don't know. This includes in person or over the phone. I get intimidated easily. I make my mom, Chris or as sad as it is my sweet 11 year old Hope talk to people for me!
5. My kids are named after Days of our Lives stars! The only one I changed a little was Zoey instead of Chloe.
6. I love sports! The Dallas Cowboys, Jazz, Braves, and now Real Salt Lake are my teams.
7. My favorite colors are Orange, pink, and yellow.
8. I do not like sleeping, but really do not like being tired
9. I can not take the first or last item of anything (grocery items, napkins, cups, etc..).They are the ones touched the most Yucky germs! I have to take the middle.
10. I never knew what unconditional love truly was until I had Hope Brady and Zoey! They are the best things in my life :)
11. I want to be on Family Feud
12. I love boy band music! There is a little pre-teen still in me :)
13. I am married to my best friend, and find myself to be very protective over him.
14. I heart running!
15. I am determined to loose 50 pounds in the year 2011, and I know it can be and will be done!
